It's Just Life

If you can truly get beyond the story of needing a purpose to life and just be in the stillness of the moment, your purpose to life and to humanity will be beyond anything you could make up as being needed.

There’s nothing one can truly do to gain more self-worth because that would mean things would need to be different in order for you to be complete, and this just isn’t so. If you aren’t complete as you are, you have to ask yourself why that is. Putting out completeness energy is all life and humanity needs. If something else is needed, your purpose to humanity basically becomes non existent, your energy becomes that of taking. I know we all see things as the conditioning in place dictates, but the nonsense of taking energy puts one in the position to be controlled like a puppet on a string. Even when it’s thought to be completeness energy, it takes a very settled mind to see if this is truly so.

This is not to say don’t help others or do loving things, the key is to not attach to it, that’s what I’m talking about. The world is as it is and I’m not really sure if it’s suppose to be this way or not, but I do know in the space of stillness one life (mine) has transformed. If I died tomorrow the world will go on. There won’t be a legacy left behind as this or that, I just do what the Universe revealed to me and that is that. In this space is completeness energy where there is peace which is impossible to explain. If you can truly get beyond the story of a needing a purpose to life and just be in the stillness of the moment, your purpose to life and to humanity will be beyond anything you could make up as being needed.

Simply Learn to Sit

What you think an awakening is actually blocks you from it…when thoughts are strung together they form a story…and a story is simply that…and just because you think it…that doesn’t mean it’s the truth…

All the searching you do for answers by reading another book just adds to the confusion that’s already in place…if there wasn’t confusion the need for another book wouldn’t arise…but the minds answer to this confusion is to read another book…pure insanity…simply learn to sit…nothing else is needed…you can’t solve mind problems with the same mind that creates them…any book that’s read is just someone else’s take about something…when the mind settles truth is revealed…it doesn’t come from a book…simply learn to sit…I haven’t read a so called spiritual book in over eight years…not because I know it all…but because my answers arise from stillness…my experience has been knowledge will only take you so far…if you stay in the mind you will remain in bondage to it…the shift that occurs when one awakens is the heart opens…this has nothing to do with one’s belief in something…what you think an awakening is isn’t it…it can’t be because what you think is only a story…simply learn to sit…don’t label it…what arises has nothing to do with what you think…your label is your story…simply learn to sit…and you just may be surprised that what arises has nothing to do with someone else’s book…but this will only be seen when you simply learn to sit…

Heart Space

When a person says I want this or that, initially it’s a view from the mind. For it to become a view of the heart, I and want have to be let go of so all you are left with is space.

There are basically two ways to view this existence. One is from the mind, which is the view of ideas, concepts, beliefs, and stories, and the other is from the heart which needs none of the things listed from the mind, especially the stories. When the minds view is in control it produces stress, fear, tension, greed, anxiety and a slew of other things that don’t necessarily add anything to life. When the heart is the controlling view, there’s a tendency to create space and as one learns to sit quietly and the mind settles, space becomes the normal state. There are many agitated mind states that keeps one entrapped. These agitations will only subside when something is in place that allows them to. Living from the mind is learned and because it’s so much more influenced by the world, unconsciously it becomes the default view.

Living from the heart will have to be learned if this is to change. Any suffering that occurs is directly linked to one’s thought about it, so if you don’t have the thought of suffering than you won’t suffer. Simple, but this will only occur through understanding and learning what it will take to change the agitated mind view. Mind and heart reactions are much different and because the mind has been conditioned to fulfill I wants and desires, I becomes the core of the mind made suffering. When one says I want something, initially it’s from the mind, but for it to become of the heart two things have to happen, I and want have to be removed so all you are left with is space. Until that happens the mind view will continue its control of the way your life is lived.

Mindfully Aware of Awareness

Life will always be life and it will always be as it is, but you don’t have to be stuck in a mind state where you’re not mindfully aware of what’s actually happening; awareness aware of awareness…

To be mindful is to be aware in the present moment (Now) to what is happening while it is happening. Anything that happens in life doesn’t have any specific effect, its effect is linked to a person’s conditioning, this is why one reacts to what happens as they do. This conditioning is in place for everyone, it just manifest in different ways. The quality of how mindful one is of what’s happening while it’s happening determines the awareness of it. Before something occurs there’s always the space of stillness that it arises from so if you’re already in a distracted state of unawareness, when the next thing arises it’s immediately labeled by your conditioning. How can it not be? If one is in a mindful state of awareness or quietness and the same thing takes place, the label won’t be applied; the key here is to pay attention to things conducive to your well being. This is not always easy to see because of the conditioning in place. Many are unaware of Now so things aren’t done that are conducive to your well being, but they’re done anyway because that’s what’s in place.

Until there’s awareness of this, the same conditioned behavior will be repeated over and over.
You are always in the present moment (Now) whether you are mindfully aware of it or not. When you’re not, what arises grabs hold of you. It’s one of the reasons the Buddha said “Nothing can harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts” because the unguarded thoughts control you as if you were a puppet on a string. Going beyond this is more of a mindset than effort, it’s simply being awareness aware of awareness. Stillness of each moment is where everything arises from so if you’re in harmony with this what arises will have less effect on you. Life will always be life and it will always be as it is, but you don’t have to be stuck in a mind state where you’re not mindfully aware of what’s actually happening; awareness aware of awareness…

Core Energy of Love

There’s always a core energy where life is basically lived from and this determines if the energy emitted to humanity is truly from love or from the self serving way one thinks things should be.

For years the core energy of my life was based to self serve, this didn’t leave much room for anyone else to be served, so to say the least my life was always filled with drama and chaos. This is what core energy based to self serve produces, it has to because that’s the nature of self serving energy. No one is truly at fault for this core energy, it’s basically in place because it’s the way humanity has evolved; this self serving energy is the cause of every conflict that has ever occurred.

Ever so slowly cores of love are being established and this is what’s making humanity different; it’s the only way things will become different. Core energy based in love is one of quietness, it’s not made up where one has to constantly defend that their way is the way. True love needs no defending because it’s in unity with all of life regardless of what someone else’s core energy is based in. If for some reason you’re in conflict with someone your core is not of love, it can’t be because that’s just not how love rolls; it never ever has conflict because it’s energy doesn’t allow it.

Conflicts with others are a gauge to see if your core energy is truly based in love or if it’s self serving. If there’s conflict, regardless of the other person, your energy is not based in love. You may tell yourself it is, but how can it be if there’s conflict? A conflict arises whenever something isn’t in line with the way you think it should be, but who are you to think you know how things should be. Mind your own business, take care of your core, and make sure you allow everything and everyone to be as they are because it’s then and only then that the core energy of your life will be of love and humanity will be different because of it.

Shallowness of Thought

Look beyond the shallowness of your thoughts and how they’re adhered to. It will be beyond this adherence that one’s true self emerges, if not you will remain confined to your own shallowness.

The Conditioned Mind encourages shallowness and adherence to your thoughts results in your own shallowness because it’s what’s guiding you. Is there truly a way to get beyond this shallowness, or is this just reserved for a select few? There are many who are living proof that a person can go beyond the shallowness of Conditioned Mind thoughts. One just needs to take a step back from the entanglement that’s in place. All of these entanglements are based in selfishness, with most centered on greed, hate, and delusion. This shallowness has become what the value of existence is measured by, but shallowness of a thought is valueless.

Look at the entertainment industry (sports, music, Hollywood, etc.) and how it’s adhered to, it can be called the distraction industry because that’s what it really does. It distracts you from noticing what is truly going on in your life; these distractions are adhered to daily. Because of the conditioning in place this shallowness is allowed even though it’s in everybody’s power to stop it; this shallowness has a foot hold on our throat. Please use whatever energy that can be utilized to get this message out to as many people as possible. I don’t mean preach it, or post it, I mean use your energy to go beyond the shallowness of your thoughts so you can live a message of love and be an example for others. You can only change your own shallowness, but by that changing just think of all the people that you come in contact with daily each and everyday and how many can be touched, that is if you can get beyond the conditioned shallowness that’s running the world.

Majestic Energy

Humanity’s energy is from the thought realm which attaches you to the world. As long as one is controlled by their thoughts, majestic energy can’t be primary regardless of the beliefs or concepts being held onto.

The more thoughts are held onto, the less majestic energy there will be as primary in one’s life. This is why humanity is in its current state and until this is realized individually and as a whole, things will not only remain as they are, they will get worse. I know this was the way I was until I learned why I acted the way that I did. I never understood resentment, greed, hate, jealousy or the outright deluded view of life I had. I couldn’t see the majesty that was in my heart because of all the conditioning that was in place. This blocked me from the majesty of life and as long as my thoughts were held onto this was never going to be seen.

The block to life’s majesty is also the block to one’s own majesty. Majestic energy doesn’t arise from certain beliefs and concepts, it arises from silence. It’s a shame that this isn’t understood because humanity would be so much different, we would be falling over each other in the majesty of love instead of harming each other in the name of religion or whatever else is believed to be right. There’s so much resentment and hate carried around that arises from within; it’s one’s own energy. This energy causes much harm to others, but it causes the most damage to the one who it arises from; this is mostly missed and not understood. This energy is from the thought realm which attaches to the world, and as long as one is controlled by their thoughts, the majesty of love can’t be the primary energy of life regardless of what belief or concept is being held onto.

Conditioned Momentum

The energy of the past has so much momentum because of how long it’s been in place. The Conditioned Mind uses that past momentum to process life and until this is realized the present moment will be out of reach.

Whatever your age, if you aren’t living in the present moment you are attaching to all your past experiences and this momentum keeps you living in the past. In my case there’s almost sixty years of conditioned momentum to draw on. It’s no wonder the mind has a difficult time settling; there’s just so much information for it to process and more is added every moment of every day. There’s also future energy and although this energy is different than the past, it is still attached to and drawn from the past, but the momentum goes in the direction of the future; case in point is both past and future are reaching mechanisms. Most of why something is reached for is to alter the way one wants to feel now. With all of your conditioned momentum in place, this is why when a person stops using one thing, another thing is substituted for it.

People only gain weight when they stop smoking cigarettes because their conditioned momentum carries them to reach for food as a substitute. When the mind settles and more time is spent in the present moment, the momentum lessens as does the reaching for food, hence there’s no substitution and less weight gain. The older a person is the more momentum their conditioning has. Its been proven someone who starts a sitting practice at an early age has much more stability in their life than someone who doesn’t; this is simply because there’s less conditioned momentum. Don’t make this anymore complicated than it needs to be. Live in the present moment where life only exist, or be a slave to the past and future momentum where the only thing that exist is the Conditioned Mind controlling you as if you were a puppet on string.

Unconscious Blaming

Blaming others for your discontent is the epitome of unconsciousness…Blaming yourself for your discontent is a little better, at least you are looking inward…Blame no one and there is no one to be discontented…

Pointing at others and blaming them for your arisen discontent is the epitome of unconsciousness. Even though this isn’t the fault of the pointer, it still remains the lowest form of existence because there’s not one iota of love in pointing at and blaming others for your discontentment. Hate can only arise from within you if it’s already there, this has nothing to do with who or what triggers it. It doesn’t matter what another person does, as long as there’s blaming there’s unconsciousness.
Blaming yourself for your discontent is being semi conscious, at least you are looking inward to a degree and not pointing out there at others as much. There’s still much unconsciousness here because blame is blame no matter who is being blamed. For forty nine years I was the way I was (selfish) without the slightest inkling there was another way to view life. Ten years ago I learned there was no other way for me to behave because I was unconsciously conditioned to do what I did; there wasn’t a choice. Hence although one is accountable for what they do, there’s not much responsibility if you are only doing what you have been conditioned to do.

Here’s what happens when a person wakes up. Blame no one and there is no one to be unconscious. Love becomes your base and there’s no one to blame because there’s no separation, there’s only unity. This unity is with life itself and with this comes the understanding that life is simply as it is and it never needs to be different. This is because needing it different would be blaming life itself for things not being as you think they should be, and that’s all we do when we blame is want whatever has occurred to be different…

Beyond Words

Without applying labels and stories to what happens to you, there’s existence beyond words. This is where you will be free from attachment to self and without attachment you can truly be you.

If everything that’s done is based on a self doing it you will need to keep doing to remain what you think is whole. This attachment to self is the main thing that keeps you entrapped to your own suffering. Sit with this next part and see exactly where is this self that’s so adamantly defended. What if you lost your hand would you still exist? How about both hands, now take everything away expect for the mind. Let’s just say that remains intact so there would still be existence. Even if you lost your mind there would still be existence, you just wouldn’t be aware of it. So what part of the story of this self is you? The limbs, or the story of the loss of them, the mind, or the story of the loss of it; I guess there wouldn’t be a story if there wasn’t a mind.

There’s nothing real where the self is that’s conjured up in the mind. This isn’t to say there isn’t a self, but what part of the made up story is really this self that is attached to? What part of it makes you complete or incomplete? In my case is it my role as a husband, father, son, brother and so on? Or is it my job title or my writings? All of these things exist, but they’re only a story. Without applying labels and stories to what happens to you there’s existence beyond words. This is where you will be free from attachment to the story of self and without attachment you can truly be you.

Conditioned Problems

The Conditioned Mind loves to create problems, until this is seen it will continue to do so even though everything in life is temporary, especially the Conditioned Mind problems that are created…

Problems are created by a Conditioned Mind that doesn’t accept what’s occurring in the present moment. It wants the present moment different and it actually makes you think if it was different all would be well; this is the fallacy of the Conditioned Mind. All is well right now, but because of the Conditioned Mind it’s not seen so a problem is created just so you have something to do. I’ve always had a tendency to make everything that occurs a problem, and although I don’t attach to this as I once did, many times the problem view is my first reaction.

Yesterday I was washing clothes and I put them in the dryer. When they were almost finished drying, I opened the dryer to pull out a shirt, there were blue spots on it and also on some of the other clothes. I pulled them all out and found a pen in the dryer. There was also blue ink all over the dryer. The first response was my usual this is a problem reaction, the clothes are ruined. I took a step back and took a deep breath. I grabbed a shirt and cleaned a spot, the ink came out. I then cleaned the inside of dryer. I rewashed all the clothes and an hour and a half later it was as if nothing had happened. I don’t concern myself too much with my reactions anymore, the attachment to what occurs is what I watch now. The clothes can be substituted with anything. The Conditioned Mind loves to create problems, until this is seen it will continue to do so even though nothing is truly a problem because everything passes, that is to a mind that sees just how conditioned it is.

Shining Your Light

You may not be able to do anything about the state of how things are right now, but you can live in a way that lets your light shine through by just being with what’s here now and doing what’s in front of you…

To be a light, one must simply be with what’s here now. The task at hand is what is happening right now, which is the only place that life can truly be lived. It’s also the only place that your light can shine through. If you aren’t with what’s here now, your light won’t be noticed. Life can never be better than it is right now, because right now is simply what’s here. Only the Conditioned Mind makes you think this isn’t so. Life is always lived in the here and now and that’s always what’s in front of you. You can wish for things to be different, but it’s your life that is being wished away. Learn to be with what’s simply in front of you, and your light will naturally shine through.

Our path is laid before us to do the best we can with the tools we have, but there needs to be a clear path that lets our light shine through; it’s very easy to veer off the path if there isn’t vigilance. There are many diversions that will try to dim your light. It’s as if our life is an obstacle course and it’s in place to divert us from the here and now, from our present, which is where our light is. There’s only one present and one life, but there are many many obstacles. One of the main obstacles is wanting things different. The mind tells you, if what’s here now was different than life would be better, but this is a lie. Things are the best they can be right now because of being present; this is where your light can shine. If you can’t change the way things are right now, you can at least live in a way that lets your light shine through. Just be with what’s here now simply because it’s the task at hand and be with whatever it is that life gives you that lets your light shine through…

Opinionated Desires

Life is not a made up perfection where it has to be the way one thinks it should be. Whatever arises has to be accepted exactly as it is with seeing its perfection regardless of how much it’s desired to be different.

Being human means desires will arise. Unless this is accepted exactly as it is without needing life to be a certain way so you can get a better seat in heaven or move up on the angelic chain of command, life will seem to always have some kind of struggle associated with it. One of the common traits I notice when I talk to people about the Conditioned Mind is not truly accepting the moment exactly as it is, with a self imposed label of imperfect being applied . There are so many conditioned desires engrained in each of us and if they’re not accepted as they arise, one will live a struggled existence, needing those desires to be fulfilled.

Accept each moments desires and just watch as they arise. This isn’t a right or wrong thing, it’s just part of being human and it has to be accepted if there’s to be peace in one’s life. There’s opinionated energy all around and it will cause much suffering as there will be desires to be played out fulfilling them. This desiring usually manifest as individual energy, but at times it’s both individual and collective energy, and if results of something aren’t accepted as they are, it’s because one’s opinionated desires are in control and wants different results. Anything that happens has to be accepted as it is if there is to be any semblance of contentment. This is made more difficult because as things occur and because one is human, an opinionated label is applied to what arises as being unpleasant. This makes one desire whatever arises to be different and as long as one’s energy doesn’t accept this as part of their humanness, peace and contentment will never be had.

Delusional Stories

Understanding delusion is one of the attributes of waking up, but it’s not the delusions of the world that entrap you, it’s the delusions that run your life that hold you in bondage…

A delusion is a story that runs your life. They manifest as one attaches to their thoughts. The first thought that arises about something is inconsequential, it’s the attachment to the second thought that forms the delusion. To understand delusion there must be awareness of their attachments and the way your mind works; without this the puppet on string patterns remain in place. Certain practices turns one inward to see this so if what you are doing doesn’t turn you inward, you will remain entrapped to your delusions of the Conditioned Mind. This is why nothing from the outside truly changes a person because anything from the outside is part of the delusion. A broken mind can’t fix itself and as long as it’s reaching for something on the outside, it remains trying to fix itself and thus it remains broken. Until this truth is seen, things will stay as they are because nothing is being done to change it.

We can only know what’s being done on the surface if there’s awareness of it. What this means is one has to develop mindfulness of what they are doing as they are doing it so there’s awareness of what’s being done. If you know what you’re doing as you’re doing it, it leaves little room for delusion to arise. Mindfulness is probably the single most discipline to develop as it anchors you in the moment as what is being done occurs. Delusions only occur when one lives in the story of a past or future. These mind made constructs keeps the delusion alive. The present moment can be seen without making it a story even though it passes as quickly as it arises, but the past and future can never truly be seen without a story. This is because most people lack the discipline to be present which is what causes one to live a delusional state of existence…

Only "I" Reaches

Reaching for an object happens because “I” makes this so. Only turning away from the clinging to “I” will result in true freedom and this is because it’s the turning away that provides the letting go.

When one is caught reaching for an object of desire and it takes hold of all your attention, the only way to break free of this is to have awareness you’re caught. The object doesn’t matter in the sense that it can be anything from a thing, a place, people or even yourself, but what does matter is seeing what’s making you reach for it. There are so many different objects reached for that one will have to decipher for themselves what holds them. The reaching is different only because of what’s used, but the turning away is the same as long as there isn’t substitutions. Many people stop smoking only to use food and eventually go back to smoking. This is just one example, substitution is rampant in our society and it keeps one locked into reaching and remaining on the merry go round of desire.

Turning away from whatever it is that grips you is where you will experience true freedom. Why this is difficult for most people to truly see is because “I” isn’t seen as the core of the reaching; this is why substitution is so prevalent. If the reaching results in using drugs or alcohol, when a program is substituted to stop using them, unless one turns away from “I” the drugs and alcohol will most likely be used again. Why this is so is because the program is being reached for also and although one stops using drugs and alcohol, the program is only used as substituting one object for another and doesn’t provide true freedom. Only turning away form “I” will result in freedom and that’s because without “I” there’s no reaching. This is why the object doesn’t matter, because it’s only “I” that makes one reach and it’s only in turning away from “I” that one will be free.

Making Up Truth

The value of using the body as an anchor for present moment living is it doesn’t make anything up, only the mind does so when the body is used to be present, truth arises; this is beautiful in its simplicity…

Your made up truth isn’t necessarily true, it’s true in the sense that it’s your version of truth, but the content of your made up interpretations of truth are not truth. This is because you are the creator of your truth and it’s believed wholeheartedly, but it’s only your interpretation. This is what directs your energy and how your life is lived. The thing to also investigate is how much you make up. There’s the parents truth, the childhood one, the teen and young adult truth. There’s the boy meets girl truth, the get married truth. The work truth, family truth, and on and on. There are so many truths and only one you, so which truth is true? If you say all of them you should be able to sense why it’s so difficult to see the true version of what’s true instead of one that’s made up. There’s the truth in there somewhere, but it probably hasn’t been discovered yet. When the real truth is discovered all the made up ones fall away.

So how would a person know what truth is? My experience has been truth is known when there isn’t a need to create it. Truth always arises, it’s never created, it’s basically what’s in the present moment. This is the value of using the body as an anchor for present moment living. The body doesn’t make anything up, only the mind does, so when the body is used to be present, truth arises; this is beautiful in its simplicity. Grasp this and making up truth will cease to exist because the need to create it won’t arise and without a made up version of truth there’s no interpretation of what is actually true…

Outside the Box

What is considered the box by society entraps most people to the idea of what others think the box is and unless this can be seen to go beyond it, there will just be blind acceptance of someone else’s idea of the box.

Stepping outside of what is considered the box as far as thinking goes is a must if one is to go beyond the trap of the considered box. You may ask why would a person want to go beyond what’s considered the box, here’s why: the so called box is based in form and to be attached to form causes suffering. It’s as simple as that, with the normal attachment to the senses (the box of form), life will still occur, it just won’t be experienced as fully as it can be. There will still be experiences, how can there not be with one being alive, but they will be dictated by form and there’ll be much boxed nonsense associated with them. Societies box entraps one to what others think is considered normal and unless one can see this to go beyond it, there will be blind acceptance of someone else’s idea as your own. It’s an easy trap to get caught in because the bait is so enticing.

This plays right into the reward system that is considered part of societies box. Not too many people do anything that doesn’t have the reward of pleasure associated with it. This can be applied to just about anybody and anything. When was the last time you purposely did something that you knew was going to be unpleasant or without some kind of reward attached to it? This is pivotal in understanding the process of the Conditioned Mind. Until you can just be with whatever arises, without judging it or associating it with pleasure, the box of what society considers normal will be what dictates the life you’re living, and unfortunately it will probably be someone else’s idea of what is considered the box.

No More Questions

The Conditioned Mind makes you believe answers are needed to exist, but answers aren’t truly needed; the questioning will only be eliminated when there’s the simple acceptance of what’s happening right now.

Although the mind always wants answers, sometimes the answers gotten aren’t the ones wanted, and sometimes one doesn’t even get an answer, but the problem doesn’t lie in the lack of answers, it lies in the mind becoming agitated and creating unnecessary questions. When things occur and one’s conditioning creates questions, it’s because makes one thinks they need answers. at his makes it very difficult for what’s occurring right now to be accepted. This is the cause for most of one’s discontentment, and if what’s occurring right now isn’t accepted, it makes for a very agitated mind. The real kicker to this is it’s your own mind creating this nonsense.

Life isn’t something to be figured out, actually the more you think you have it figured out, the less it’s known what’s going on. It’s the Conditioned Mind that wants to put life in a box, but the moment this is done existence becomes limited. This occurs because a limit is put on a mind that doesn’t truly have a limit. Understand this self created limit is because of one’s conditioning not the mind itself. The mind is limitless, it’s a product of the Universe, which is also limitless. Our mind can be understood to a certain degree, but the limitless of it cannot so instead of making up answers, be in the moment of what’s actually occurring right now and allow this to be your answer. When this is done there won’t be a need for questions because wanting answers will be eliminated.

A Directed Dilemma

The Conditioned Mind is a human dilemma because it leads most in the direction of greed, hate, and delusion. If you can see this in yourself you will not have to look any further because you’ll understand you are already free…


You can only change your own conditioning, and that will only happen if you’re fortunate enough to be aware of this. What happens when it’s realized how every thought is that of the Conditioned Mind is you stop trying to change how the world is and instead you understand how to accept the world as it is because you know you can only change yourself. This will not change the Conditioned Mind of those immersed in greed, hate, and delusion, but it will change you. It is only the workings of a Conditioned Mind that needs things different, even if it knows things can’t be changed.


Who knows if the world will change before humanity destroys it, but it’s only through the Conditioned Mind that this is happening anyway. Maybe it’s suppose to be this way, maybe not, but a person can only change themselves and that will only happen when there’s enough awareness to realize how conditioned you really are. Look at the smugness of your own conditioning before you point the finger at someone else. After all when you point one finger at another there are three pointing back at you, so simply take the log out of your own eye before you point out the speck in someone else’s eye. The way we are conditioned as a species is our dilemma, this is a stark fact and until this changes nothing will change. But fret not because if you come to realize this you will understand “It’s Monday Only in Your Mind: You Are Not Your Thoughts” and when you do you will see just how conditioned you really are. It will be then that you will have the possibility of awakening and seeing the light, not a conditioned light, but a light provided by simply looking within.

Distracted Thoughts

There’s not much a person can do about the first thought that pops up, but with practice discipline can be developed to watch the distracted thoughts as they arise and are attached to…


There are as many different views of life as there are people in the world and no one view is inherently right or wrong. We each have a unique way of perceiving and interpreting life and the base of what is perceived and interpreted is where our differences come from. This is where we create our delusional separation from each other and this is when conflicts arise, but the conflict isn’t with others, it’s with our own thoughts. If we all viewed life from the same base of love, it would be the base of our existence and there would never a conflict with anyone including ourselves. Our true essence is Universally based in love, but then comes each individual’s perception and interpretation. This is where the break down occurs because the mind isn’t disciplined to watch our distracted thoughts. Our thinking is totally distracted trying to satisfy pleasures and desires that are created by an undisciplined mind. Our distracted thoughts are the greatest block to loving ourselves and all beings.


Distracted thoughts are why we become are our own worst enemy. If all we had were thoughts based in love, conflicts with ourselves would be non existent and if we had no conflict with ourselves we wouldn’t have any conflict with others. No one can harm you as much as your own distracted thoughts, but when the mind quiets and settles there’s awareness of this. Once a person becomes aware of their distracted thoughts, they can stop being their own worst enemy. They can then begin to think of loving themselves the way the Universe intended, and in the process have thoughts that are based in loving all beings…

Understanding the Lies

Lies created by the Conditioned Mind can’t be fixed with the same conditioning. It’s not that truth has to be known to change this, but the conditioning will have to be understood if the lies are to cease being created…


It’s very difficult to know truth because of the Conditioned Mind creating so many different definitions of it. Instead of trying to prove what truth is, begin to notice where the lies come from. A lie is something that has no real facts to it. Perceptions aren’t factual, they’re made up by the conditioning of the perceiver to suit some belief. People ask me if I believe in God, my answer is, I have come to see how beliefs are only a made up story, attached to something that you hope will make life the way you think it should be. These stories don’t enhance life, they actually take away from it. For me I stick to what I know is factual and how it relates to my experience. I don’t see the benefit in making up a story (attaching to a belief) about something to suit a conditioned mind made up lie.


The biggest lie in place is that the things of the world will satisfy you, this lie is reinforced everyday. It’s an untruth which is at the core of our entire misaligned society. It creates all our issues as a society. Religious sects all claim to have the truth, no facts, just their truth. Politicians try to fix problems based in the same conditioned lies that creates them. The entire entertainment and sports industry are based in lies that create the false impression of the haves and have nots, which creates separation in our society not unity. There’s also the lie of social and career status. There’s no truth in any of these, there’s only perception. Lie after lie after lie, and what happens to a society when lies are its base is it becomes a society of liars. Not because we want to, and not because we can’t know the truth, but simple because we don’t understand the conditioning in place that creates the lies.

Surface Conditioning

As long as there’s conditioning in place, this will dictate the energy of your life. This energy arises and results in as what’s on the surface, but it doesn’t allow you to see what’s truly going on.

How things appear on the surface isn’t how they actually are. If one truly wants to see what’s going on, going beyond what is seen on the surface will have to happen. If two people are looking at same thing there are usually two different opinions of what is seen, and than there’s what’s going on beyond the surface; this is truth. There’s three sides to every story, my side, your side and the truth. To stop seeing what’s on the surface one only needs to stop creating the story of what is seen. Stopping the story process allows the mind to slow to a point where space opens up. It’s imperative for this to happen if the conditioning that’s been formed over the years is to lessen its grip.

The Conditioned Mind is so misunderstood. I look to my own reactions to know this and in the process I can see it in others. This isn’t a story, it’s a fact. Know your own conditioning and you will know the conditioning of others. This is because we are all of the same energy. Creation is simply creation and needs no story. When the conditioning is seen for what it is, its energy begins to transform to allow liberation. As long as there’s conditioning in place, this will dictate the energy of your life. This energy arises and results in as what’s on the surface. It doesn’t allow you to see what’s truly going on, and until you do what’s on the surface will be the only thing seen.

Life...Not About Me

Me energy can’t get out of its own way. For the next step in the evolution process to occur, me energy has to be let go. A true transformation can only occur by me energy being absent in one’s daily existence.

The more the energy of me is in control, the more life seems to be a struggle. This doesn’t mean one should go around making life about others because in my experience that’s still the energy of me. Not easy to see this, but as long as one has to do something, me energy is in place. Not attaching to me energy may be the most difficult part of the awakening process at least it is for me…lol. This is mostly because of how me constantly gets reinforced. Most people develop a mindset that has me as the center of the Universe, this is not easy to break free of because me energy begins as an infant and just gets deeper into the subconscious as one gets older. This is one of the true blocks to awakening and it’s why so few do.

Me energy can’t get out of its own way. This is why most people remain as they are and don’t change. I don’t mean superficial change like not doing something any longer, I mean a deep inner change that happens because the Universe does it. No one can change themselves, but you can put yourself in alignment to change. This happens constantly change, but it’s mostly done as a detriment to ones own well being because it comes from me energy. Thinking you know what life is about, but still using worldly satisfaction to me means something is still being missed. For the next step in the evolution process to occur, me energy has to be let go. A true transformation can only occur by me energy being absent in one’s daily existence. Creating Space Allows Grace

Grace is the difference between being happy, joyous, and free or being stuck in a mundane existence, and if space isn’t created to allow grace to arise, mundane life will be…


If you want to truly experience all that life has to offer you will have to create some space to allow grace to manifest in your life. This creating space is like putting an addition on your house. Let’s say you have a family of four and you only have a two bedroom home. You can live there the way that it is, cramped and confined, or you can put an addition on it and create more space which will make the living so much more comfortable and so much more beneficial for everyone involved. Not putting on an addition (not creating space) is how it is with the noise in our ahead. The noise controls and limits and it keeps one cramped and confined as it goes round and round, that is until there’s space created that allows grace to enter your life.


The noise in the head will not allow you the grace that’s needed to truly live your life and it will not allow the space that allows grace to be your focused energy. Grace is not something that you can make happen, it’s not something you can study, it’s something that occurs when the space is created so it can arise. The space of grace is what happens when you stop trying to manipulate life to make it how you think it should be. You were born by grace all without one iota of assistance from you. Finding Your Anchor

Look down at your feet, regardless of where they’re planted this is your anchor. If it isn’t it’s because the need to reach for something else is blocking you from being anchored in the present moment…

When all of a sudden you’r not at peace, it’s because something has taken you from it. Remembering to look down at my feet reminds me if I’m not at peace it’s because I’m no longer anchored in the moment. For years I was constantly searching for this anchor and expect for brief moments it eluded me for most of my life. This was because my anchor was always contingent on something that was outside of myself and whatever its form, it was always an anchor based in what I thought I needed to provide myself comfort. There’s no need to list what these anchors were because there are so many, they’re all the things one reaches for. These anchors come in many forms and unless one truly takes a step back to see this the reaching will always be there, but finding your true anchor will never happen.

The lies of the Conditioned Mind will dictate what you will use as an anchor and until this conditioning is identified, one’s anchor will continue to be sought and never be found. The only way this will change is by going inward to discover why there’s a need to reach for something, once this is revealed, therein lies your anchor. Your anchor isn’t from the thought realm though, it comes from the stillness within that tells you it doesn’t matter where you are or what’s happening, all you have to do is look down at your feet. If you need any other anchor it’s because the need to reach is still in place and it’s blocking you from finding the anchor to the present moment.

Selfish Attachments

Awareness is key in breaking free from the hold of the attachments of the Conditioned Mind, and the only reason the hold is even so is because of the selfish nature that’s at the core of these attachments.

The mind would never become agitated if one didn’t attach to the present moment needing to be different and what is needed different is decided by your own mind looking for something that’s going to provide you with pleasure. This is where awareness to what one is attached to helps, without this awareness the agitation is never seen, and one simply succumbs to it because they have to. There’s no choice in this without awareness and even then the attachment is so powerful it most likely will not be let go of. Awareness of what one is attached to is key in breaking free from the hold of the Conditioned Mind, and the only reason the hold is so is because of the selfish nature of what’s at the core of these attachments. It’s the reason why one needs something different and reaches for money, greed, porn, gambling, drugs, alcohol, programs, and even God to name just a few of the things that are attached to.

When using the body for present moment awareness the attachments aren’t as powerful and although they will still be there because you’re human, they won’t have as much control over you as they do now. You can say the mind agitations aren’t in control of you, but just by saying that they are; this is because if the mind wasn’t agitated, there wouldn’t be any response. This is how you can tell if the mind is agitated, it will respond to things without giving it much thought. When the mind isn’t agitated, there will be space between what arises and the response to it. The space is the result of developing discipline and fully being in the present moment. Without this discipline one will remain a slave to their mind agitations and be selfishly attached to things that don’t allow the space to be free.

Just Watch

Just watch as each situation arises in your life and you’ll be the recipient of a peace that passes all understanding. Or not and stay a prisoner to the judging and labeling process of the Conditioned Mind…

There are two ways to live life, one is from the perception that we are directly involved in everything that happens. This requires that we make constant judgements as each situation occurs; we instantaneously label things as they happen. This is what makes life personal. This is the way most people have been conditioned, so this is the only way one can be lived. The other way that life can be lived, but this must be learned, is to just watch what happens. This is much different because you don’t get pulled into what happens. You’re a participant because you’re alive, but you learn not to judge and label what happens. If you are in traffic, you watch the label arise, but that’s all you do. You acknowledge the fact that there’s traffic and that’s it. You don’t have to take it any further because it doesn’t add anything to the situation. In this case you’re in traffic, but by just watching being in traffic instead of making it about you, there’s a freedom that’s not there when the situation is judged and labeled instead of just being watched.

Just think of the many scenario’s that this can be directly applied to and see how differently each situation affects you when it’s watched instead of being judged and labeled. It’s amazing how much more peace there is in your life when it’s simply watched. Don’t take my word for this, see the difference for yourself as you learn to watch what happens in life instead of being pulled into it. The situations that occur don’t change, just the way it affects you does. Become the watcher and be the recipient of peace, or not and remain a prisoner to the judging and labeling process that keeps you in bondage to the judging and labeling process of the Conditioned Mind.

Mind Agitated Lies

Truth will make a person look inward and as they do all sorts of things will arise, and because of this inward view the mind becomes agitated and a lie is created to avoid the truth…

Most people unconsciously live a life consumed by a lie more so than one of truth. They believe they’re living by truth, but upon further investigation this fallacy is uncovered. On the outside one is totally consumed by the lie which keeps a person locked into it, but this is only because of one’s own conditioning that locks you in. Truth will make a person look inward and as they do all sorts of things will arise, and because of this the mind becomes agitated and a lie is created to avoid the truth. Becoming aware of the lies so truth can be revealed is essential in the process of understanding yourself. Sit with the assumption that you will sit in stillness and watch how little stillness there is or just sit and be with whatever is there, that’s the truth of stillness. When the mind doesn’t have to push anything away or pull anything in, it is still.

Only agitated energy causes the mind to create a lie, but being with the agitation allows the mind settled. This doesn’t mean you don’t make changes, but when changes aren’t necessary the mind is settled. This is why I don’t share about positive versus negative, because if it’s negative and you have to pull positive in, it’s the same agitation as if you are positive and you push negative away. An agitated mind is a mind that needs things to be a certain way whether it’s positive or negative. This is the agitated lie, but the truth is nothing needs to be different than what it is and the mind will only settle when there isn’t the agitated lie of needing to push something away or pull something in…

Aware of Your Own Presence

All roads that lead to a peaceful life begin and end in the present moment and developing a mindfulness practice will assist in the awakening of being aware of your own presence…

When one lives in a state of mindfulness, this allows the present moment to be experienced, this is the space of your own presence. Being mindful of what’s actually happening as opposed to being pulled around by it is what determines the amount of peace there will be in your life; this peace arises by being aware of the space of your own presence. Life is magical in its essence, but there’s nothing magical about being in the space of presence. All roads that lead to a peaceful life begin and end in the present moment and a mindfulness practice will assist in being aware of your own presence…

Watch a thought and be mindful of it, now watch another, this is a tool as is the breath to be used to keep you in the space of your own presence. One can not be mindful of being in someone’s else’s space or the space of the past or future. You can be mindful that you’re thinking about someone’s space or the past or future, but you can never actually be there. Every watched thought or breath can only be observed in the space that it’s happening. The more one becomes mindful of this, the more focused one becomes of the body being in the present moment (your own space) as opposed to grasping for the story of some other space. Be mindful of this article as it pertains to your own presence and what arises. Just be with it by being mindful. It’s in the space of mindfulness that you will find the peace of your own presence and this is because the only thing that’s there is the presence of your own space…

Thought Awareness

Thoughts will arise, but they don’t have to control you. If there isn’t awareness of this, your thoughts will blindly be attached to which will lead to them being blindly in control…

If there isn’t awareness of your own thoughts, there won’t be anyway of knowing if they’re truly beneficial to you. Without this awareness hold on because you’ll be taken on a roller coaster ride. Not that life does anything directly to anyone, but thoughts arise and they determine what kind of ride you will be on. Awareness of your unchecked thoughts is essential if one is to not be controlled by them. Thoughts are a natural part of life, they will arise, to me there’s no way of controlling the thoughts that arise, but I have found that awareness of them allows for a split second hesitation that can be used to determine whether or not the thought is beneficial; remember attachment to any thought causes suffering, not the thought itself…

I often say the Conditioned Mind is diabolical and unless there’s some awareness of how controlling your thoughts actually are, they will and this has to happen, control you as if you were a dog on a leash. So subtle is this that even if you are doing things that are labeled as loving, if these thoughts aren’t watched they will eventually control you; remember bondage is bondage regardless of what label is applied to the thought. This is why the Conditioned Mind is diabolical because of its subtleness in using whatever it can to remain in control. Thoughts will arise, but they don’t have to control you. If there isn’t awareness of this, your thoughts will blindly be attached to which will unfortunately lead to them being blindly in control…

It's Never Personal

There are many different ways that people handle what arises in life, the key to not being controlled by what arises is to understand life isn’t personal and it doesn’t do anything to you…

As life happens, the way it’s handled depends on how one relates themselves to it. One way and the most common is to make what happens so personal that it’s attached to as if life does it to you. This is very limiting and it creates much suffering because it’s made as if there’s some master plan as to why things happen; this is when the would’ve, should’ve, could’ve mind takes over. That there’s a you who thinks things happen to is at the core of the conditioned way of thinking, but nothing truly happens to you, things do happen, but nothing directly happens to you unless it’s taken personal. I’m not saying ignore what happens, but without making what happens personal, things that happen are allowed to be as they are without creating suffering. This is not the way most people handle life. The conditioned thought is there has to be an emotional tie to what happens, but what’s not understood is this tie causes suffering. This isn’t seen because of making life personal which only exist in the mind.

No one has to suffer through life, but if the herd mentality is blindly followed, there will be suffering. The last few weeks have allowed me to go deeper within to see how my own suffering is created by holding onto a self that’s been programmed to take life personal. If you don’t think this is true, pin point where this self is that is so adamant about taking what happens personal. I will just say this, because of the attachment to self, although what happens happens, it will always seem as it happens to you, but nothing is ever truly personal, not because it’s being ignore, but because there’s no attachment to a self to take it personal.
