There’s a reason why one isn’t at peace all the time and it’s because of attaching to the familiarity of the past and allowing the fear of the unknown to keep allowing history to repeat itself…
What keeps the past in place is your fear of the unknown. It’s much easier although not more beneficial to stay in a familiar setting of the past than to venture out into the unknown; it’s your own Conditioned Mind that tells you the familiar is better. Understand this is not truth, it’s a lie, the Buddha called this lie Mara. He would say “I see you Mara” and just like that the lie would give way to truth, but to see the lie you must know the lie, for to not know the lie is to not know the truth. Only the truth can set you free and only if it’s truth based in love; not some story of what you think it is. You will know this truth when the mind is quiet enough and love is revealed; in this truth whatever it is you call evil cannot survive.
Our lack of truth is humanity’s greatest dilemma, not because it’s bad or good, but because it keeps you locked into Conditioned Mind Patterns that makes for the habit of history repeating itself; even if it’s the same mistakes made over and over. To overcome the lie your conditioning has to be overcome. If not the squirrel cage mind will remain in control, the love that can overcome fear will be blocked, you will continue living a lie, and you will continue to repeat the history that is harmful to you and our precious planet. There’s a reason why one isn’t at peace all the time and it’s because of attaching to the familiarity of the past and allowing the fear of the unknown to keep allowing history to repeat itself…
